Abstract

This article analyzes a number of works by domestic and foreign scholars on the existence of relations between the financing of the system of lifelong education and indicators of socio-economic development. On this basis, a number of hypotheses was put forward to prove or unprove such impact for Ukraine with the help of correlation-regression analysis tools. For example, authors researched the role of cumulative expenditures on lifelong education system on economic growth, income inequality, distribution of earnings, employment and unemployment rates, globalization and global competitiveness, corruption and crime rates, migration and immigration, and so on. This allows us to confirm the importance of cumulative financing of the education system throughout life for the social and economic development of the country.
